VH1’s BIG IN 2015

You’re less than a week away from witnessing the year’s biggest stars together in one room. It’s VH1 Big In 2015 With Entertainment Weekly, where the hottest trailblazers will be recognized for their accomplishments in pop culture this year. Where else can you get Miss Piggy and Elizabeth Banks to make out? Watch N.W.A. legend Ice Cube pass the torch to his son? Witness Amber Rose and Amy Schumer’s real-life love story? (OK, maybe a lot of places, but it’s not like that ever gets old.)

The big event goes down Monday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on VH1, and you need to be there. In addition to stars already mentioned will be honorees Taraji P. Henson, Aziz Ansari, Nicki Minaj, Love & Hip Hop creator Mona Scott Young as well as presenters Queen Latifah, Aubrey Plaza, host T.I. and performer Elle King.

Seriously, it’s about to go down. Get more info in the press release below and tune in next Monday.

Los Angeles, CA (December 2, 2015) – Hollywood’s biggest celebrities honor the top entertainers of the year in the VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly celebration premiering Monday, December 7, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on VH1. On that night, VH1 and Entertainment Weekly, the brands that help define pop culture, team up to toast the people who entertained us the most all year long.

The evening features previously announced honorees Amy Schumer and Taraji P. Henson, Elizabeth Banks, Aziz Ansari, the breakout cast from the most successful music biopic of all time “Straight Outta Compton” — O’Shea Jackson, Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell, and multi-platinum superstar Nicki Minaj.

T.I. keeps the party going as the host of the evening’s honors. Celebrity presenters include Queen Latifah who praises Nicki Minaj and Ice Cube who presents the Big In 2015 honor to his son O’Shea Jackson, Jr., accepting the accolade on behalf of the Straight Outta Compton cast. The multitalented Debbie Allen toasts Empire star Taraji P. Henson. Amber Rose honors her gal pal Amy Schumer. Aubrey Plaza salutes Aziz Ansari, her Parks and Recreation co-star. Miss Piggy also hits the party to present Elizabeth Banks her Big In 2015 honor.

Creator of the hit VH1 franchise Love & Hip Hop, Mona Scott Young, also gets congratulated for her big contribution to reality television in 2015. And Elle King wraps up the VH1 Big In 2015 With Entertainment Weekly party with a raucous performance of her hit single “Ex’s and Oh’s.”

A decade after VH1 created the pop culture awards show with the “Big In… Awards,” VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly marks the return of the franchise, which celebrates the biggest moments and people in entertainment with a star-studded special with A-List talent and their complete “squads” in tow.

The VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly venue will sparkle with the irreverent sensibilities of a friendly roast by the entertainers’ “squads” and the celebratory spirit of a year-end blowout. No seat fillers here — celebrity friends will fill the venue for a collegial environment where the Entertainers of the Year can truly feel at home while viewers get an intimate look inside the real lives of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
